No. It will be against a pac 12 team. My guess is Arizona or UCLA.

I think Danielson has earned the job. I love his creative playcalling, maximizing each players’ abilities. And they love him! Give him a shot! I’m officially on Team Spencer!
He is definitely looking good. But would you take him over Peterson? Why else would Peterson have been at that game? In Bronco gear to boot!! I’m like Mulder over here. I want to believe!!!!
Danielson has impressed, but he’s only got a couple of years as a coordinator under his belt. I’m sure everyone felt the same way about Avalos at first.
I think the biggest thing with Danielson is he is our only hope of not having a mass exodus into the transfer portal, if it’s not Danielson I think Jeanty is gone, I think TG10 is gone and I think the whole D is gone to the portal. It will not be pretty. Danielson has earned the job, and it’s obvious this team plays their heart out for him when they seemed to have quit on the previous coach
I agree about Danielson being the head coach. The obvious caveat is if (big if!) Kellen or Petersen were to “come home” + keep Danielson as DC with a nice salary bump, all the players would stay AND we’d pick up some nice recruits in the next few weeks. However, any other scenario – like a Brent Vigen or even a Jeff Choate – then Jeanty and lots of others are gone. Dickey knows this. He’s got to be factoring all of this in … right!?!?

The way I understand it for the LA bowl isn’t it the Mtn.W champ v. the PAC #6? ESPN has USC @6. Wouldn’t it have to be BSU v. USC?
LA bowl is just mwc vs pac12. USC would find a way to play in the Sun bowl because they would feel bsu isn’t a worthy enough opponent. ( they forgot about losing to Tulane last year. Arrogance). I’ve been reading it might be Cal in the LA bowl which would lessen the appeal of the game considerably in my opinion. We’ll know tomorrow sometime who it will be. Coverage starts at noon eastern on espn.

My apologies to all. Further research has shown the LA bowl does get the first pick from the MWC . However, they are not required to select the conference champion. Once again I stand corrected. Don’t be surprised if they pass on boise for unlv. And from what I’ve read itS expected to be ucla for the pac12.
When they say pac12 #6 they mean the la bowl gets the 6th pick from the pac12 behind 5 other bowls with pac12 affiliation. Not the 6th place pac12 team
