Maddog was completing 75% of his passes in Fall camp while Taylen was at 71%. Close but ill got with the higher percentage than the other, even though the later can run. But that can ONLY get you so far, with the coaching we have.
Looks like a lot of trash talk is going on this game. Every time we catch a punt the Memphis boys are jabber jawing.
What the heck is up with the mouth guards?!? I don’t get it. Why do the DBs and WRs play with their mouth guards dangling off their face masks? Is that a new fad? Like having one sock pulled up and one down? It seems like it would make playing that much more distracting and difficult. Or maybe I am just old.
Damn!!!….this game is about what a the odds makers predicted. Close game. My gut hates it. I loved the something-zero game of the first half. But this is a nail biter!
Yea, someone might need to tell the coaches that covering the spread is not winning the game if the spread is against you.
Unbelievable. Offense can’t get into the red zone. This offense is so inconsistent. The defense played well, then collapsed in the second quarter. Poor tackling – again.

Avalos is comatose. No fire or urgency. What can be done to be more aggressive on defense? This is sad.
Put that loss squarely on Avalos. If he had stuck with going for it on 4th and 1 this game would have been a W.

Avalos owes all the BSU fans and players an apology. He should have went for that 4th and goal! No faith in your team Andy! Either apologize or step down. That includes the O and D coordinators too! You can’t win giving up 3rd and long eveytome!
The silver lining to this is that it ended any question whether or not BSU deserved a NY6 Bowl. They obviously don’t. Winning the MW will be a challenge now.
Have we seen enough MadvDog needs to start ! Every time he comes in Cold and scores TD’s.

Agreed!! I like MadDog, Dont get me wrong I like Taylen, god guy athletic but he is not very accurate enough to make some tight throws.
Mad Dog has better game management and is “Moore” accurate… hehehe!
PLAY MAD DOG! Move Green to TE or a WR..
They let Madsen run an uptempo passing game which is what works in football today, if they let TG10 do the same I have no doubt it would succeed.
