Following a game where the Broncos turned an 0-10 deficit into a 45-10 win, interim head Coach, Spencer Danielson, gave an emotional interview. He discussed how much he loves the players and how happy he is for them. Ahmed Hassanein likewise got a little choked up when emphatically and repeatedly talking about how much he loves Coach D and would “run through a brick wall for him. No pads.” George also explained he ran angry tonight as revenge for his rat tail mullet being besmirched…

Also, Rumble doesn’t suppress speech. Listen fellow fans of the Orange and Blue. I was wrong. Holani is the guy. He was the guy all along. An OKG of the highest order. Jeanty is special but there is a reason George has been in the RB1 spot. Me thinks Spencer screwed up playing Jeanty tonight. I would have been okay having him dressed down and available. But that knee brace is massive and clearly he has a hitch in his giddyup. Running backs have a shorter shelf life and they need to be protected. It’s really unfortunate because he’s having… Read more »
Let’s not get caught up in all the emotion. Coaching is more than, ‘I love them and they love me.’ Selecting a new HC is a sober and thoughtful process. I’ve seen moments like last night turn sour quickly. There is usually an emotional response to new coaches. Take for instance whats-his-name at Colorado. That said, there is a vast difference between Danielson and Sanders. I think Danielson is hands down the better coach. The point I’m trying to make is, enjoy the moment but find a coach who can produce more than a couple of emotional wins a season.… Read more »
That sounds good. Ultimately though he has a bigger conundrum on his hands. Bush is in his first year as OC with us and has shown some promise. Danielson has been with the program for a while now and seems to be a good coach. If Dickey shoots for the moon so to speak and gets a big HC name with lots of connections, those two are probably out. Then you risk getting a bunch of retreads in the coaching staff. It’s no different than what a lot of us face who run businesses or are responsible for hiring. The… Read more »
Id Bush? Bush might be the better of the two; if Dickey stays in-house.
Dickey has an incredible decision to make. Likely, the only decision he can make, outside of Danielson to satisfy everyone, would be Kellen Moore. And, of course, that’s if Kellen wants it. At present, things don’t look so good with the Chargers. He may be unemployed after this year.
Another thing to consider, he may not even be HC material. It takes more than brains. I heard Eienstien made a terrible coach while at Princeton.
I don’t know what happened to the above post. I’m trying to eat and type at the same time. It’s beyond “edit.” It’s up to you to figure out.
Yeah. Kellen would get the blood pumping but after things cool down there would definitely be questions about what kind of leader he is and his ability to run a team having never done it. Would be fun though!! That’s a good point.
