After the unfortunate events that transpired versus Nevada earlier this week, no one could be certain how the Broncos would respond. But, as Leon said, and as Boise State has proven all season, they’re a very resilient group.
After leading for most of the first half, the Broncos went into the locker room on top. SDSU came out and started chipping away at the Broncos’ lead until they not only led, but did so by 10 points multiple times. However, some late game heroics pulled the score even as regulation expired. Agbo hit one to tie the game up with 52 seconds left, but then after SDSU answered, Anderson forced overtime with 7.2 seconds left:
Once the game was in OT, Max Rice got the people going (of the small BSU contingent in SDSU) when he sunk one of the most impressive shots of his career. Cam Martin ended up capping off OT by–NBD–downing the Aztecs via free throws to give San Diego State their first loss at home all season!

Six men in double figures. Good balance. For the season four starters are in double figures.
I think I watched Martins last block just as many times.
Yes, that’s just as pressive!
Too many to count. I’m still watching it. The number keeps climbing, so it could be up to 100 till the day is over!
Cam looked like a volleyball player out there. That was amazing. The kid goes hard under the basket for the rebound and game winner then hustles down court for the absolute volleyball spike esque block. He is an OKG for sure! I once said that they still don’t look like a tournament team, but if they play like that we could get our first tournament win this season. Still a little too inconsistent in my opinion. I mean rice doesn’t make that heave 7/10 times and that’s what it took to win. You just aren’t going to win when it… Read more »
