Today’s number is the square of 8, and you know what that means??
…please tell me if you do because I don’t actually know what that means other than that it’s mathematically accurate. Feel free to make something up. We kind of do that a lot around here, in the final section of these articles.
At any rate!…I do know that we only have 64 days left to happiness. And because of that, today we will highlight…

Stats
Height: 6’4″
Weight: 299 (+3)
High school: Owyhee High School, Meridian ID
How’d he get to The Blueâ„¢?
A local product, Rasmussen had offers from Air Force and Army, as well as SDSU, Portland State, and Idaho State. Also, the Vandals. The Broncos were Rasmussen’s last offer he received, and on June 27, just two days after the offer from the Broncos came through, he accepted and committed to spending his Saturdays on The Blue.
Nickname
“Nintendo”
Frankly, it’s his fault for picking jersey #64.
Look-alike

Kirk Cousins? Kinda? But, like…larger.
Career Highlights
Carson redshirted in his first year at Boise State and has not yet played. However–fun fact–he was the first player from the newly founded Owyhee High School to be a Bronco. Stats aren’t really a thing for an offensive lineman at the high school level, but if you take the time to watch his senior year highlights on Hudl here, you’ll see bodies flying everywhere. In it, he keeps the pocket clean and clears running lanes for a good running game that made the 5A State playoffs two years ago.
2024 Prospectus
Carson seems as though he has the ingredients to have a bright future and I anticipate that he will likely even get into some games this year, but will probably be doing so as a reserve.
Is he on Twitter?
Indeed he is, and his pinned tweet is a GREAT commitment video that starts with a picture that so many Idaho families have taken before: him on the Blue at the Optimist Jamboree when he was a kid. Check him out at @carsonrass.
Completely made up fact
Carson is ranked in the top 10 in the world in Goldeneye. Stay away from that man in the trapezoidal realm when he’s rocking that RCP-90!
