Somehow, today is the halfway point of July. It’s crazy to think that in 16 days, we will write an article that says “The Broncos play football this month”, but here we are. Today, it’s time to look at an Idaho standout!
#47, Jacob Williams, RS Freshman, Cornerback

Stats
Height: 5’11
Weight: 190
High School: Burley Senior HS, Burley, Idaho
How’d he get to The Blueâ„¢?
Williams was a pass catcher in high school, playing for the Burley Bobcats. His senior year, he was a 4A Second Team All-Conference selection. The staff at Boise State decided he is best suited on the defensive side of the ball, and he took last year as a redshirt to grow into that role.
Nickname
Burley’s Best
It’s always nice to have local players stay home, and Jacob is among the best of them!
Look-alike

The look-a-like machine has spit out Chris Tucker for today’s look-a-like! Tucker was in lots of Rush Hour movies, lets hope Williams can rush the QB well!
Career Highlights
Williams snagged just over 900 yards his senior year of high school, and pulled in seven touchdowns. He redshirted last year.
2024 Prospects
It’s going to be tough to get on the field this year, with the amount of talent the Broncos return at DB. Never fear, however, as Williams still has lots of time to find the field as a Bronco!

Completely made up fact
Jacob has an awesome smile in his roster picture. It’s because the photographer asked him to think about a nice DB blitz against Fresno State and grabbing a nice 15 yard sack!
