Mr. Ashton “Hei2man” Jeanty proved once again just how fun of a running back he is to watch.
Mr. Jeanty had 186 yards on 13 rushes and added three touchdowns to lead the Broncos to an overwhelming victory. He crossed the 1,000-yard mark as well making him tied for the fastest to 1,000 yards in the FBS getting there in just five games (two of those games he was benched at halftime for being too awesome).
Maddux “Mad Dog” Madsen also had himself a solid game going 21-25, 256 yards, three passing touchdowns and no interceptions. He did get sacked once (I argue it was a fluke). Fun fact: Mad Dog has only been sacked twice so far this season along with only throwing two picks. Dude is getting it done when it matters.
Cam Camper lead all Broncos with 5 catches for 59 yards and one touchdown.
Austin Bolt had two touchdowns on four catches and 24 yards. Fifty percent chance of getting a touchdown catch? Sign me up.
The defensive secondary has some work to do (still) as they allowed Utah State’s Petras to go 27-41 for 372 yards and three touchdowns (no interceptions). The defensive line only recorded one sack but did have 7 tackles for loss.
The kick return team for the Broncos did join in on the scoring with Dylan Riley going 96 yards for a touchdown. It’s nice being on that side of a return touchdown.
While the game wasn’t really all that close the Aggies did score way more than they should have. Hopefully the coaches can get some of that cleaned up.
The Broncos hit the islands next week to face off against the Hawaii Warriors.
Go Broncos!

Next week is going to be a trap game. Hawaii is really….. nope, couldn’t do it without laughing 😂.
One touchdown away from a really NICE game. Secondary looks like balls. On to the next one.
I watched Erik Chinander’s defense at Nebraska. It was uncomfortable to watch, but…it worked. It kept the Huskers in the game as the offense sputtered…
The same here…but it is working…and keep in mind, Jalen Royals is probably one of the best receivers in the game right now…he will definitely play on Sundays… And props to him…he was offered $500k in NIL to leave Utah State, but he stayed…
I saw a drop-off from last week’s QB pressure. It seemed to me the entire defense was a little lackluster this week. Who know-could have just been an off day. Everyone has them.
Well…..Ashton Jeanty is catching everyone’s attention-not a surprise! Dylan Riley is faster than I thought. That kid turned on the afterburners. In every game thus far, the opposing defense gets tired physically, and Jeanty doesn’t. Perhaps it’s my homerism but, they seem to tire of having to watch his every move and tackle him. It sure is nice, though. It opens up those receivers for TD passes. I watched half the defense go after the fake to Jeanty, leaving receivers wide open. That’s not a bad thing. Pulling starters at halftime? I think we did this a few years back… Read more »
