Exciting Facts and Such

1. Best Team Yet?

After a strong start beating Oakland by 44 while holding them to 43, this team looks better than it has and looks to be off to a much better start than we are used to. New key pieces in Dylan Anderson, Alvaro Cardenas, and Javan Buchanan, along with the huge leap Meadow has taken, make this team look absolutely elite. While the season is just starting, I think you should get your seatbelts fastened because watching this team is going to be a fun ride.

2. Early Quad 1 opportunity!

With this game being on the road, and with San Francisco being 66 in NET, this gives the Broncos an early shot to show the committee what they can do against good competition on the road.

3. Last time we played the Dons

In a game that was overshadowed by the out-of-nowhere firing of Andy Avalos that happened earlier the same day, the Broncos were able to squeak out a tough game, winning 63-58.

Player to Watch

Malik Thomas, G

The former USC transfer is coming off an impressive 23 point, 4 rebound, 3 assist, 5 steal game against Cal Poly, showing no drop off from where he left off last season when he averaged 12.4 PPG.

Keys to Victory

Spread the Wealth

We did a great job of this in the last game and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Play the defense we are capable of playing

In life, there are three things you can always count on: death, taxes, and Boise State having an elite defense. Play the defense that we usually play and don’t let their offensive talent beat us.

Score prediction

After cruising to an easy victory over Oakland, the Broncos are already on the road to face off against a tough opponent. Boise State is currently gelling and they look like they are in mid-season form, while San Francisco looks to have early jitters after squeaking one out against Q4 opponent Cal Poly by 8 points. While I do think this game is a challenge, I think the Broncos win with breathing room.

Boise State 78, San Francisco 64
