Well, well, well what do we have here?

This is incredible news for the team, the university, and the community of Boise.
Not too long ago the goal was to get the automatic berth and, if we were good boys and girls, a possible host opportunity.
But a #3 seed? And the positives that provides? Incredible feeling.
The Broncos will face off against the winner of #6 Penn State vs #11 SMU. That will be in Glendale at the Fiesta Bowl (a location Bronco Nation is well familiar with).
That, along with the Hei2man campaign, has combined for a truly incredible season.
Congratulations to the team and coaches.
Go Broncos!

I hope they win or at least have a good showing to prove they deserved a bye. While they certainly deserve the automatic berth, I’m not sure their body of work deserves more than a 12 seed. If the passing game was more explosive or the secondary more reliable, I would have a different opinion.
I hope they are more like 2017 UCF (best G5 rep team) than 2023 Liberty.
I want the defense I saw in the first half of the MWCC game to show up and the team that played the first half against Oregon.
You’re trying to rain on the Broncos’ parade. Won’t let ya.
The body of work is twelve wins and the only loss to No #1 Oregon by a walk-off FG. If BSU won that game, where would they be ranked?
I get it, it’s all subjective but it sounds like your narrative has been challenged.
If they had beaten Oregon, I would say they deserve a 5 seed.
You mean, Oregon, right?
No, I think he means Oregon.
I agree completely with Bob Yarhead. And I love our Broncos.
This is a great day in Boise State football lore. Let’s be like the sailor on Times Square; grab the closest honey and plant one (make sure it’s your wife).
Let us lift tankards of good cheer and, all in one, say, “Thank you Broncos!” And drink the ale of victory. For this hour is theirs and ours. And brave every foe and from hence; be it the Nittany Lions or Mustangs. Another shot at the Ducks, ere the only blemish redeemed.
We shall raise. We shall raise. We shall raise.
Too Much?
Nope. That brought a tear to my eye!!!
I’m excited. Watching the Ducks and Lions play yestarday neither team showed much defense. I think that bodes well for our run game. On the other hand, both teams had a lot of offense, but I think our D has made huge strides over this season and will play very well.
Get rested, get healthy and GO BRONCOS!!!
A great day, indeed. And, not be overlooked, $8 million for the conference, plus $3 million travel money and $300 K for APR. A good day for the MW>
It is awesome that we got the #3 seed. We have a legitimate path. Now, we MUST win at least our Fiesta Bowl game. Otherwise, the P4 Trolls will never shut up about it. I love Boise State and want them to win the Natty! I think their is an outside chance they do it. It would be the best thing that could happen to CFB. And, it would (at least momentarily) shut up the P4 apologists who constantly dog on our Broncos. Is the SEC a tougher conference than the MWC? Absolutely. Is Boise State a team that “only… Read more »
