Exciting Facts and Such
1. Best in the West
Every game is now crucial towards making the tournament. Tonight is no exception, as the Broncos face the best the MW has to offer in New Mexico. The last time we met, we were in for a rude awakening, losing 65-84 in The Pit. Do the Broncos have what it takes to finish the season 6-0?
2. Resume Watch
While getting that at-large bid isn’t impossible, it isn’t looking likely. Following the loss to the Aztecs, the Broncos will likely have to go undefeated to end the season to go to the big dance if they aren’t going to win the conference. It’s not going to be an easy feat either; starting tonight against New Mexico, the Broncos still have to visit Lawlor and will have to take on the Aggies and Rams at home in that stretch.
3. Previously in the X…
The last time the Lobos visited Boise, the Broncos had a dominant performance, leading them to a 79-69 victory.

Player to Watch

Donovan Dent, G
Do I even have to explain this one? Dent is by far the best player in the MW this season and we will see that here tonight, no doubt.
Keys to Victory
Just Shut Him Down
We need to put a full stop on Dent if we want to pull this one out.
NO LAZY PASSES
Turnovers killed us against the Lobos last time. Their fast-break style of play turns turnovers into what feels like automatic points.
Score Prediction
Well, we got blown out in the first one but we’re at home this time—where we have a 10-1 record. I think we pull this one out from the skin on our teeth, after a hard-fought battle and potentially overtime.
Boise State 78, New Mexico 77
