Following a massive win in the quarterfinals against 4-seeded San Diego State (who hadn’t missed the Mountain West Semifinals since 2007!) the Broncos should feel amped up in this one against the Lobos. Boise State must win this one to keep tournament hopes alive against a team they split with in the regular season series.
2. Resume Watch
Well. Win this game; some bracketologists have us in, and some will still have us out. If we lose, all hope is lost. If we win this and lose in the champ game, most bracketologists will have us in. That said, historically we’ve been a couple of spots lower in the actual field than what the bracketologists forecast, so we will see.
3. Not old, but gold
About a month ago we won solidly against the Lobos at the X, a performance we can hopefully replicate tonight.

We all know he’s amazing. (I mean he was the MW player of the year for crying out loud!) However, the last time he faced the Broncos he put up one of, if not his worst performance of his season, putting up an inefficient 17 points on 30.8% shooting. Hopefully, he plays similar or worse tonight.

It’s how we beat San Diego State yesterday, force turnovers and turn them into points on the opposite end.
Score Prediction
New Mexico is coming off of a tough win against San Jose State, while the Broncos beat a good San Diego State team by 10. I believe the Broncos win this one and go on to the champ game.
