Exciting Facts and Such

1. Here we go

After beating 4-seed San Diego State in the quarterfinal and 1-Seed New Mexico in the Semi-final, the Broncos will now face Colorado State, the last team that has beaten the Broncos. The winner of this game will go on to the big dance as an AQ, while the loser will have to sweat Selection Sunday on the bubble.

2. Resume Watch

Winning this game puts us in the field as an AQ, and losing this game will make it a very close call but maybe still possible. Winning the MW is also the only way we avoid the much-dreaded trip in Dayton, so ideally the team takes care of business.

3. Double Champs?

The Broncos have a chance to win a MW championship in both sports in the same season for the first time. The last time the Broncos won a conference championship in both sports was the 1994 season when Boise State had a Big Sky championship in football and won the Big Sky tournament in basketball.

Nique Clifford, G

Horrifying that we have to play him again. He was the sole reason they beat us in Boise when he put up a career-high 36 points, of which he did on 72% shooting and 57% from 3.

Say no to Nique

Do whatever it takes to shut this man down.

Force Turnovers

Keep this going, getting into lanes has helped us win these tournament games.

Score Prediction

Sure, the Rams won by 10 in Boise, but beating a team twice in a short span is a lot easier said than done. Colorado State has been the best Mountain West team as of late, but their magic ends now.

Boise State 77, Colorado State 73
