Friday, it’s Friday, gotta get down–*ahem*–sorry got really excited there. While we wait for the weekend we have 83 Days until kickoff. Technically the Broncos don’t have anyone at this spot so I went with a newbie defensive player this time. So lets read about…

Stats

Height: 6′ 1″

Weight: 178 lbs

High school: Evergreen HS, Vancouver, WA

How’d he get to The Blue™?

Mr. Alanis was a three-star recruit per 247Sports coming out of Evergreen. The offer sheet for Alanis was pretty short, just Boise State and Montana State. Glad he inked on the Boise State dotted line.

Nickname

“Joe”

A lot of nicknames tend to be a shortened one syllable of an already existing names. That and I am not going to go with the super-lowing fruit on this one.

Career Highlights

Nothing on the blue, obvs, but he was listed as the top safety recruit for the state of Washington per 247Sprots and the number eight overall recruit. He had 37 tackles and a sack to go along with a pair of interceptions during his senior year at Evergreen.

2025 Prospectus

The Broncos lumping all the secondary into DBs makes projections a little difficult. But an educated guess is Mr. Alanis will be preserving his redshirt and probably gets some time on special teams. Secondary can be so fickle at times. But can’t wait for Alanis to contribute.

Is he on Twi/X?

Completely made up fact

Mr. Alanis is a big MMA fan often never missing a major PPV. He’s super-excited about the next Patty ‘The Baddy’ Pimblet fight. Loves seeing what foods Patty is going to eat after weigh-ins.
