Stats

Height: 6′ 2″

Weight: 322 lbs (+13)

How’d he get to The Blueâ„¢?

Mr. Keinath comes to Boise State via the transfer portal. He came from Western Illinois (after originally going to American River College, out of high school). He committed back in June 2023. Boise State beat out UNR, U-Mass and a couple of others, but the obvious choice was obvious and now he’s here.

Nickname

“Filipino Flattener”

Taking inspiration from the flag of the Phillipines in his Twitter handle and his role as a distributor of pancake-blocks.

He could be a younger (and better looking) Patton Oswalt. But really only if Tyler’s worst day coincided with Patton’s best…

Career Highlights

Played in 10 games last year, started in eight, and played very well. He was an integral part of paving the way for the second most productive rusher in the history of FBS/D1 college football. Some guy named Ashton Jeanty.

2025 Prospectus

He started most of last year and most likely will do so again. Although, this time, with an extra 13 lbs to utilize in service of his “flattening”.

Is he on Twitter?

Yes. Here. @TylerKeinath

Completely made up fact

Keinath once blocked a defender so hard he wound up in the concession stand. Coming back with a sportsmanlike “Good play!” wasn’t sufficient for this particular defender, though. Instead, he returned with nachos and a churro for Tyler, as a show of respect.
