These days, folks forget about JUCO transfers with the transfer portal. Sherrod wasn’t lost in that shuffle, garnering an offer after an solid campaign at San Mateo college. He tallied up 4 interceptions en route to a California state title. Seeing as we’re in need of positive change in the interception department, the Broncos sent an offer his way.

The lookalike machine directed me towards actor Mahershala Ali for today, possibly because of the sponsorship we don’t have with Jurassic World Rebirth™, in theaters everywhere (except for some places) now.

I bet you didn’t even notice that I flipped nickname and lookalike, huh? Today we combine them with aforementioned actor Mahershala Ali. Google tells me Ali has 2 academy awards, perhaps a trophy or two is in Sherrod’s future?

2025 Prospectus
I’d expect Sherrod to be a few spots back in the DB rotation this season. Always hard to say with the way the DB positions switch around, but I’m sure we’ll have a better idea of where he falls in the pecking order come next season.
