Mr. Swanson comes to Boise State by being really good at football. He earned all-state honors on both sides of the ball. He was a first team all-state defensive lineman and an honorable mention as an offensive lineman. He was also the Three Rivers league Defensive Lineman of the Year as a senior. So, kind of a big deal. His high school career totaled 76 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, nine sacks, four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and an interception. Weirdly, however, there doesn’t appear to be a 24/7 Sports or Rivals profile for him and it’s unclear whether he is on scholarship or not.
