It’s Saturday. What better thing to do on a weekend than to countdown the days to Boise State kickoff!

How’d he get to The Blue™?
The former four-star rated OT (per 247Sports) was the no. 3 overall prospect in Nevada and the no. 35 offensive tackle in the nation. Putting it bluntly: dude knows how to ball. Mr. Cronin was the second four-star recruit for the 2025 class (along with day 85 player Terrious Favors).
Along with the Boise State offer, Cronin had: Oregon State, UNR, Cal, Arizona, Colorado, Michigan State, Minnesota, New Mexico, San Diego State, and UNLV.
Nickname
“Cronenberg”
Never not going to think of that one Rick & Morty episode.
Look-alike

I’m thinking a more filled out version of actor and musician Dylan Minnette
Career Highlights
As a senior in high school he was named the Northern Nevada Offensive and Defensive Lineman of the year. Helped lead Bishop Manogue to the state playoffs as a senior and led them to the title game as a junior. Also: state champion skiing. So that’s dope.
2026 Prospectus
If there ever was an opportunity to start on the offensive line as a true freshman, a four-star rated recruit would be the best candidate. But can Mr. Cronin do it? It’s a tall task. Starting as a true freshman for any D1 team is tough, let alone for a team with top-25 (and better) aspirations. Roger Carreon was the last one to do it and it was one game against UTEP. With the Broncos in serious need of help on the front line, I am not sure if they are willing to go out on that limb at this crucial juncture. The OL has several transfers ostensibly to compete. Cronin sits out this year HOWEVER he’s going to come in next year and wreak some havoc.
Is he on Twitter?
NIL Exchange:
Nothing yet.
Completely made up fact
Cronin’s favorite cat is the African Black-footed cat. Successful on 60% of its hunts makes it one of the most dangerous predators.
