1/3 of the way there, folks! Presenting Mr. #67:

#67, Jason Steele, OL, RS Junior

Stats

Height: 6’4

Weight: 300

High school: Temecula, CA (Murrieta Valley HS)

How’d he get to The Blue™?

Jason was a three star prospect in his high school days, rated as the #18 high school center in the country (per ESPN) coming out of Murrieta Valley High in Temecula, California. According to Rivals, he had offers from Arizona State, Cal, Fresno, and Colorado State.

Nickname

“Blue Steele”

The nickname sticks another year. And before you ask, I was (barely) alive for Zoolander (albeit not for Blue Steel!)

Look-alike

A surprise pull from the lookalike machine, who ultimately landed on Disney villain Almeda Slim. Wouldn’t mind if Jason was a bit of a PAC-12 villain this year.

Career Highlights

Phil Steele (No relation, probably?) has him as a preseason 2nd team all-conference guy, thanks in part to a solid campaign in 2025. He started 9 games at LG a year ago while also contributing a few more at the end of the season at RG.

2026 Prospectus

Reliability on the OL is at a premium. Whether or not he’s a full-time starter, Jason will be be an incredibly important piece of the squad in 2026. Certainly one of those guys where a big year could have an outsized impact on the squad. If he’s healthy, he’ll be quite important.

Is he on Twitter?

Yes. @jvsonsteele. Follow him.

NIL Link

Consider this, you could have Jason Steele at your work party and it would honestly probably be amazing: NIL Link

Completely made up fact

Arguments are really annoying with Jason because he lowkey knows your side better than you. The dude Steele mans everything.
