Happy Independence Day! Hopefully everyone has a safe and fun holiday with family and friends and enjoys the celebration of winning one of the OG global rivalries on the first try!
#35, Trey Tolmaire, RS Sophomore, DB

Stats
Height: 5′ 11″
Weight: 185(+4) lbs
High school: Mission Viejo HS, Mission Viejo, CA
How’d he get to The Blue™?
Mr. Tolmaire was a consensus three-star recruit (247, On3, ESPN, and Rivals). The guy is a champion, with Mission Viejo, on a team that won their state title with a win over De La Salle (kind of a big deal). He had 72 total tackles, 12 interceptions, 25 pass break-ups, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. Dude was busy last year. Some notable offers were Michigan, Washington, and UNLV (eww).
That UNLV ‘eww’ aged really really, incidentally.
Nickname
“T2″
This one is a total rip off of Terminator 2. Gosh, that’s such a good movie.
Look-alike

I don’t really think his face changed much from last year, so this still counts. Regé-Jean Page.
Career Highlights
Appeared in three games in 2025, and even snagged in interception that he advanced 21 yards.
2026 Prospectus
In 2025, Trey used his limited snaps to make a splash. I would anticipate more of the same in 2026. Still limited snaps, but more of them and a bigger splash. Solid, rotational player with a bright future.
Is he on Twi/X?
Yes, but he hasn’t posted anything new outside of a retweet since last year. You can find him here.
Completely made up fact
Already entrepreneurially scheming for post-college life, Trey is secretly buying a series of paid transit access booths along interstate corridors on the east coast. In a truly revolutionary turn of events, his plan is to refer to them as “Tol-booths”. Clearly, his talent for innovation is boundless.
