How’d he get to The Blue™?

Mr. Mitchell was a three star recruit that compiled an impressive resume in high school as both a defensive back and a return specialist. He compiled 524 All Purpose yards, primarily as a kick returner during his senior year. In that same season, he had 63 tackles, seven interceptions, one blocked field goal, two forced fumbles, two PBUs, and one pick 6. There wasn’t a lot of information about his recruitment Journey out there, but it hardly matters because he made it to the right place anyway!

Career Highlights

He redshirted in 2024 and was unfortunately, injured all of 2025. He did have a Hudl profile though, if you want to go peruse his high school highlights.

2026 Prospectus

Mitchell is a wild card in that he was a very productive and athletic high school product, in a large metro area, but hasn’t had the opportunity to really show his capability at the college level. This year, he will likely spend time accumulating some experience on special teams and/or as a reserve, with the possibility for an expanded role in future seasons.
