Thanks for sticking with us. Meet Oscar Doyle!
#37, Oscar Doyle, Senior, P

Stats
Height: 6’3
Weight: 214
High school: St Laurence’s College (Originally from Brisbane, Australia)
How’d he get to The Blue™?
The departure of James Ferguson-Reynolds left an Australian-sized hole in our football team hearts, quickly resolved by a punter transfer from Weber State. Honestly, it felt like he kinda just appeared one day, and that was that.
Nickname
“(Anotha) Punta from Down Unda”
A Punter? From Australia, you say?
Look-alike

You guys know how I feel about the lookalike machine. I always trust it. Today is no exception, and the lookalike machine has chosen The Emperor’s New Groove star David Spader.
Career Highlights
Aside from excellent punting, Oscar became the first Australian national to throw a TD pass in college football (At least I’m pretty sure anyway), and that’s excellent. All this earned him an All-Mountain West honorable mention in 2025.
2026 Prospectus
I’m not sure what high expectations looks like for a punter, but Oscar had a solid campaign last season, and the people have gotten used to good puntin’. If he doesn’t give up a long, backbreaking touchdown against Oregon, it should be a quite good year.
Is he on Twitter?
Hits that retweet button every once in a while, @oscardoyle03.
Completely made up fact
Speaking under condition of anonymity, Oscar admitted that the whole “Australian accent” thing is a marketing ruse, and he’s frankly relieved that he can speak normally when he’s home by himself.

Thunder from down under.
He made us forget about JFR with well-placed kicks, rather than outkicking the coverage. Not to mention he can come in as a QB.
