How’d he get to The Blue™?
As a high school athlete, he was a top 30 player in the state of Ohio and a three-star recruit. He lettered three straight years and had 101 tackles, 5 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and 7 touchdowns.
After his high school career, he was recruited by Notre Dame, committed, spent two years there…aaaand then ended up in a way cooler place then South Bend, Indiana.

2026 Prospectus
Bennie-Powell has an impressive pedigree and has the build and athleticism to make some noise in the future, but the fact is the position group is pretty deep at the moment. So, I would anticipate that he accumulates some experience as a reserve and on special teams with the possibility for more playing time in future seasons.
Is he on Twitter?
Yes, he is.
Completely made up fact
Taebron’s name was intended to honor something of deep importance to his parents, but they couldn’t decide on one thing between his father’s fanhood of LeBron James and his mother’s affinity for the Tae Bo workout system.
