Zeke was a three star recruit, listed as the no.1 QB in Idaho. He was rated as the #12 overall player in the state. His most major offer was Memphis, but he instead opted for a preferred walk on spot at BSU

“Clank”

Mans was doing sets of five on squats with 445lbs on the bar, with uncoated plates. When that happens, there’s just enough bend in the bar that the weights can shift ever so slightly. This results in a very satisfying “clank” sound at the top of each rep. That’s his name now. I decree it. Because he’s earned it.

2026 Prospectus

The position change to running back completely alters the prospectus because there’s actually a lot of running backs on the roster. So, honestly, I’m not entirely sure what role is envisioned for him, but if I had to guess–since he was already on the tall side for running back–and he added an extra 10 pounds of bulk, maybe they’re shooting for a Tyler Crowe-esque quasi-fullback thing. That could be fun.
