What do you call Santa without a GPS?
A lost Caus.
You know who got the All-X League Super Rookie of the Year?
Yep, our boy Jaylen Henderson.
I am not sure what all encapsulates a SUPER Rookie of the Year but since the league is in Japan I assume it comes with some sort of Mech or fun robot.
Want to see Khalil Shakir own a defense?
Sure you do.
ICYMI: Bronco FB added a couple of coaches
Ben Hilgart: Director of Sports Performance for Football
Jabril Frazier: Promoted to EDGE coach
Erik Chinander: Defensive line/Defensive Run Game
All three are probably going to be pretty short-term coaches. Especially Coach Erik Chinander. A former defensive coordinator for both UFC and Nebraska? That’s a pretty decent-sized get for a position coach. Looking forward to next year.
Boise State now at the top for recruiting rankings
As they should be! Not sure what all goes into the stars, but the Broncos have 20 total commits and 19 that are at least three stars according to these sites. Jambres Dubar is a four-star for 247Sports but his composite got brought down slightly.

I’m always a little concerned about the transfer portal; only in the short term. I think the portal will eventually play itself out. It will work out for some but for the majority not so much. Look at Vidlak. He’s making a dash for his third team. I understand he wants to play but where, Northern Arizona? When I look at all the QBs in the portal; two from Boise, Vidlak and Bachmeier and a whole host of one time blue chippers and I think, their only chance of a P5 program is on the lower wrung. JT Daniels went… Read more »
Do you think the Erik Chinander hire was to have a DC in the reserve in case Danielson leaves in the next couple of years?
To ToBasqueO I think that’s fair to assume. Unless the program is in complete disaray it’s good to hire people who you might think would be good replacements. It stems continuity. When Petersen left, he took recruits and coaches. That was tough to take. However, Harsin stepped in and brougt several with him from Arkansas State. The idea of hire from within is good but it is not the end all. The Broncos have had good continuity from Koetter forward. The HC who moved on always left it in good and capable hands. Harsin and Avalos came from within, so… Read more »
Anyone see the Denver game? Our boy Rypien was involved in a little sideline scuffle. Apparently the offensive line doesnโt think much of Russel Wilson and wouldnโt even come back to help him off the ground after a sack. So Brett let them know how he felt about that. Some offensive lineman shoved him.
Good for Rypien. Always represents well. Also, Denver may have had 3 or 4 more wins with him as the starter. Not a world beater, but definitely a better game manager than Wilson. Especially this year.
Holani staying for another year is good news. He needs a completer year and another in which to improve his stock for the pros. As it stands now, he may be a 5th round choice. With a good completer year he may move up to 3rd. And outstanding year, maybe 2nd round. This takes the pressure off Taylen and Jeanty. The Broncos used to run Ajayi nearly 30 times a game. That’s brutal. RBs only have so many carries in their career. They know that. Knees, shoulders, neck, ankles, and the head can only take so much. The backfield looks… Read more »
I just timed Taylen Green’s 91 yarder. I timed 40 yards from the 20 and the 30. I timed them several times. The best time was 3.9 and slowest 4.1. This is not to be confused with 40 times that start from a standstill. However, that’s layin’ ’em down and pickin’ ’em up.
