I’m wondering how bad Bachmeier would have been without Shakir?
I had the same conversation with my dad during the game. The longer Bach was at BSU, the more he relied on Shakir. His last full season it seemed like he wouldn’t throw to anyone else. At least not consistently. If Shakir had never came to BSU (don’t even want to think about it), I think Bachmeier’s career could have looked very different. Thinking back there were so many miraculous catches. He has the ability to get open and the ability to catch the perceivably uncatchable passes.
Sam Vidlak has committed to Montana. I think he’ll do well. Likely he didn’t see himself with much playing time on the Blue. I’m glad an oppertunity has oppened for him.
