How’d he get to The Blue™?

I did a rendition of Mr. Callahan’s countdown entry a couple of years ago. In high school did a lot of stuff and it paid off with a scholarship to Boise State. He also had some offers from schools that aren’t as cool as the Broncos. So he did good.

Nickname

“Big Mike”

I don’t know how I come up with these. They just come to me.

Look-alike

I realize this is kind of a stretch but actor Brian Dennehy? I can see it.

Career Highlights

His highlights on the Blue are somewhat limited. Last year he was in 11 games and had six tackles and a quarterback hurry.

In classroom (the most important part, right?) he has been a Mountain West Scholar athlete two times, a three time Academic All-Mountain West, and a CSC Academic All-District 7.

Sounds like he’s really capitalizing on his opportunities and that’s pretty awesome.

2023 Prospectus

Well, officially, there are only two defensive tackles on the roster. Not sure how much of a difference that makes considering the bevy of ‘defensive line’ players there are. If ‘the math’ is correct, this is going to be Callahan’s last go of it. Would be awesome to see the senior go out in a blaze of glory (and tackles and sacks and absolute mayhem). Or perhaps getting his degree and being a success off the field is fine too. Either way will be rooting for Callahan.

Is he on Twitter?

Completely made up fact

Kinder Eggs are famously banned in the United States due to the potential choking hazard. I’m no snitch, but I heard through the grapevine that Callahan, allegedly supposedly, knows how to reliably get ahold of some. But those are just rumors. Or are they?
