If you asked me 2 days ago where I’d see myself in two days, my answer would probably be: “not writing the article that was due two days ago”. Safe to say past me would be disappointed in present me.
Ladies and gentlemen, Austin Terry!
#86, Austin TErry, RS Freshman, TE

Stats
Height: 6′ 5″
Weight: 245
High school: Tumwater HS (Tumwater, WA)
How’d he get to The Blue™?
Terry was a member of Andy’s inaugural class, and is another sign of Boise State’s growing imperialism over Washington’s Inland Empire. He shunned Air Force as well as Cal, Arizona, and Kansas to ultimately make the correct decision.
Nickname
“Merry Terry”
Why be scary when you can be Merry? He’s too big to be a hobbit, but his beard makes him a viable candidate to play Santa Claus at your next 2060 Christmas party.
Look-alike

I’m seeing actor Chris Hemsworth, (brother of Liam Hemsworth) here. I have a feeling that Thor could contribute not only in run blocking, but also in the passing game, so why would we expect anything less from Austin?
Career Highlights
He kept his red shirt on in his debut season in B-Town. In HS, he was a 3 Star recruit and the #8 prospect out of Washington. Playing both TE and DL, he helped take Tumwater HS to the state title game, is this potential foreshadowing?
2023 Prospectus
I wouldn’t expect anything crazy from Austin yet, but TE room has cleared out some. I’d expect him to get a few snaps this year, although probably mostly on special teams while he’s gaining experience.
Is he on Twitter?
He does, @AustinTerry_12 and he tweets from time to time!
Completely made up fact
This is what came up when I searched Austin Terry Boise State on Google, and it certainly suffices today. Awesome that the former division 2 English footballer has found new life in the college football ranks.

Thanks for catching up. We don’t want to miss one Bronco. How about “Scary Terry”? I’m not sure what the fascination has been with tight ends other than having a few and running them in and out of the game keeps the opposition guessing. I’d like to see the Broncos have a forty or fifty-catch tight end this year. Hopefully, TG can immediately recognize a linebacker covering a tight end and burn the opposition. Young QBs often become fixated on the flashy wideouts who sometimes make something out of nothing. They look for the long strike that makes the highlight… Read more »
