The minimum age required to legally drive a moped in some countries and the smallest number that can be factorized using Shor’s quantum algorithm (no, I have no clue what that means), 15 is also the jersey number of a Bronco newcomer…
#15, Tyler Wegis, RS Junior, Defensive End

Stats
Height: 6’7″
Weight: 242
High school: San Juan Hills High School (Mission Viejo, CA)
How’d he get to The Blue™?
By way of ye olde transfer portal, from the University of Utah. Before that, however, he was a 3 star high school recruit from Mission Viejo, CA. In his senior year he racked up 92 tackles, including 37 (!!!!) for a loss, 10.5 sacks, three pass break ups…*deep breath and continue*…three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked extra point attempts.
Nickname
“Warface”
And he’s so good at making a warface that I was legitimately taken aback for a second when he smiled a lot in his pinned commitment Tweet below and in his profile picture. It just seemed so out of character with the roster image I had grown accustomed to!
Look-alike

Currently? His own mirror. In 40 years though? Dead ringer for actor, Bruce McGill
Career Highlights
After redshirting 2020 and not getting on the field in 2021, Tyler got into a game vs Arizona last year and notched a tackle. Since that’s not a lot to go on, you can also check out the high school highlights that got him recruited to begin with here.
2023 Prospectus
The two other most notable players currently and technically labeled defensive ends on the roster, Washington and Hassanein, each have almost 30 lbs on him, so he probably won’t be pushing inside on passing downs or anything. However, Wegis brings a lot of length to the defensive end position but also a lot of pass rush ability. As an extremely easy prediction, I would suspect he could quite possibly 10x his career stats at the college level. Play in 10 games and get at least 10 tackles? Maybe even a couple sacks? Oh, yeah. For sure possible!
Is he on Twitter?
Yes.
Completely made up fact
Tyler once had a staring contest with the Mona Lisa and won.
He will get some playing time this year. Get into the system. Next year will be his big moment. Avalos and Danielson will mold him into a giant wrecking ball. That height and long arms are gonna create some havoc for the passing lanes.
