Gameday Eve, everyone! JUST ONE DAY LEFT!
#1, Jambres “Breezy” Dubar, Freshman, Running Back

Stats
Height: 6’0″
Weight: 211
High school: Anna High School (Anna, TX)
How’d he get to The Blue™?
With a whoooole lot of fanfare and–after a late push from Deion Sanders and Colorado–a fair amount of trepidation that he would actually sign. According to 247sports, he was a four star recruit and the 19th-rated running back in the country.
Nickname
“Breezy”
No idea where it came from or why he’s called that, I just know it’s his Twitter handle and it’s a much better nickname than “Windy”
Look-alike

Current Ole Miss running backs coach and former UCF and Detroit Lions running back, Kevin Smith. The man whose 2,628 rushing yards fell just 62 short of Barry Sanders‘s college rushing record. Here’s hoping Dubar breaks BOTH of those marks in one of his years 😈
Career Highlights
Statistically, none so far at the college level. However, he had an incredibly prolific high school career. As a senior, he racked up a statline of 1,619 yards rushing and 19 TDs (8.2 yards per carry) to go along with 346 receiving yards and another 4 scores. He was also a track athlete.

2023 Prospectus
Initially, I would have suspected that he was going to have to bide his time behind two of the most talented running backs Boise State has ever had–not to mention a few other very worthy runners–but then Bush Hamdan said in his interview on Monday “I think he’s got huge huge upside here. I think that guy’s got a chance to be one of the more special players to come through this program”. He went on to imply he would get a chance to contribute this year, albeit in a very specific and focused role, that he knows really well. One that would allow him to contribute without overwhelming him. So, even if his role is “small”, if you watched his high school highlights, that’s a pretty exciting prospect!
Is he on Twitter?
Yes. And taking to the Treasure Valley quite well, it seems.
Completely made up fact
I have to imagine Jambres smiled smugly to himself that the Depart of Defense launched a whole new office today to track UAPs. Little do they know those aren’t real though. They’re just the clouds of smoke and dust that spin up into the air in the wake of him training sprints.
Ok it’s off topic but what if the MW added utsa?
