Intro
Welcome back, people. Like every week, I’m co-writing this Zach Price of the Blue Collar Club! His coverage is denoted by the of the BCC.
Important recent news is that Tice Williams has de-committed from the Broncos, so you can remove him from your board. Other than that we’ll keep chugging along.
Gatlin Bair
WR – Burley (ID)
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Gatlin remained out of high school ball this week, but he was up Saturday evening watching Tyler Horton’s prodigal brother play for the CSU Rams.
Clay Martineau
LB – Oregon City (OR)
⭐⭐⭐
There’s not a lot that needs to be said about great defense. 0. That’s perfection, that’s Oregon City winning in a 45-0 romp.
Cameron Bates
WR – Mansfield Timberview (TX)
⭐⭐⭐
Cameron stopped by for his visit this weekend, so he made sure to expedite his numbers presumably to catch his flight. I couldn’t have put it better or more succinctly than Cameron did: “6 REC 205 Yards 2 TD’s (Only played the first half)” Need I say more?
Kaden Anderson
TE – Chandler (AZ)
⭐⭐⭐
Still out from injury, Chandler won 42-0 against the Corona del Sol Aztecs, but Kaden wasn’t resting. Mr. Anderson collected Student of the Month honors, now how about that?

Trevor McKenna
DL – Borah (ID)
⭐⭐⭐
Trevor’s Borah Lions sadly lost their first game on Friday, 42-21 to Mountain View and future teammate Martin Connington. With that said, Trevor has been an absolute monster this season. 5 games in, he’s racked up 33 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 2 TFL, and nabbed 2 fumble recoveries. For his high school career, he’s just 15 tackles away from one “Austin Bolt”.
Hayden Hanks
DL – Thompson Falls (MT)
⭐⭐⭐
Thompson Falls is on bye this week. While Hayden preps for next week, I will scrounging for a source that keeps track of Montana HS football. Anyone have Matt Miller’s number?
Martin Connington
K – Mountain View (ID)
⭐⭐⭐
Martin cashed all 6 extra points last weekend against my beloved alma mater. It would also appear he found a goalpost in the woods to crush this 45 yarder.

Treyvon Tolmaire
CB – Mission Viejo (CA)
⭐⭐⭐
Mission Viejo pushed their record to 4-1 with a 34-28 win over Los Alamitos. Although Trey did not make the statsheet, I can only imagine it was because the opposing quarterback had zero intentions of throwing his way.
Tyrone Jackson
WR – Archbishop Riordan (CA)
⭐⭐⭐
The Crusaders had a bye as they prepare for St. Ignatius. Maybe he can help out our WRs this week? (I kid).
Travis Anderson
ATH – Mission Viejo (CA)
⭐⭐⭐
Travis, like Trey, did not make this week’s statsheet. Both players look to keep their names at the top of the South Coast leaders in INTs. Up next for Missions Viejo is a trip to St. Johns.
Kaleb Annett
QB – Corona Del Mar (CA)
⭐⭐⭐
The Sea Kings were off this week. Enjoy this wonderful picture of Kaleb and his family on The Blue ™
Connor Warkentin
DL – Centennial (CA)
⭐⭐⭐
Centennial drops to 3-2 following a loss to the Sanger Apaches. Centennial has yet to publish stats from the loss (I’m a huge fan of ignoring bad things), so I will leave you with an Apache Fact ™
Famous Apache, Geronimo, learned to hunt at 8-years old in 1837 (via wikipedia). There might not be anything significant about that, but feel free to use that at the water cooler.
Roman Caywood
ATH – Corner Canyon (UT)
⭐⭐⭐
Corner Canyon picked up their 4th straight win as they dismantled Mountain Ridge 56-14. Corner Canyon Quarterback, Issac Wilson, fared a bit better than his older brother did for the New York Jets. Caywood and the Chargers look to keep their streak going against Riverton on Friday.
Eyitayo Omotinugbon
IOL – Queen Creek (AZ)
⭐⭐⭐
The Queen Creek Bulldogs nabbed their first victory of the season in a shootout victory over Canyon View by a score of 71-60 (I triple-checked that I was still on the football page). Sounds like Tayo and crew were setting the tone on the offensive line for the Bulldogs.
I know I have said it before…but I would rather lose a recruit now than have a kid come here who doesn’t want to be here. That is just a waste of his time and our time and can be cancer to the culture of the team. That kid seems very smart. He had offers to about every Ivy League school. He is from Texas, I assume he chose to stay close to home for a valid reason.
Completely agree. Especially at this point in the cycle it gives the coaches times to offer new guys
