Today, the local sports media got a chance to catch up with Coach Avalos, as well as offensive and defensive coordinators, Bush Hamdan and Spencer Danielson, and got some details on how the team has been preparing for Fresno State. The coaches all had positive things to say about the growth of the (very young) team over the bye week and Wyoming win, having George Holani back, and what they did as a team family (along with their actual families) for Halloween. Minor spoiler: Coach Avalos dressed up as a player and his costume involved a mullet.

I watched the Craig Bohl presser. He was very complimentary of the BSU team. I wonder if he’d like to put in his remaining HC years at Boise? What impressed me; he took some of the blame and put the rest on the other coaches and players. I always think it is disingenuous when somebody says, “It’s all on me.” That’s not to say at times it is but it’s way overused.
