The newly minted Mountain West champion Boise State Broncos will be facing off in the Starco LA Bowl, hosted by Gronk (that would be 4 time Super Bowl champion, Rob Gronkowski) vs the Fighting Chip Kellys of UCLA.

Also…I lied. Their mascot is actually a bruin, which is some kind of old-timey, English term for a bear. Anyway, the Bruins are 7-5 and their only win in the last four games was a 38-20 win over USC.
Let us know how you feel about this matchup in the comments below!

Love the opportunity to stick it to chip Kelly. Strongly dislike Jimmy Kimmel. So hopefully he has no affiliation with this game anymore.
UCLA will be a good opponent.
The “sponsor” is Starco now, not Jimmy Kimmel so we’re good there.
Glad to see is going up against UCLA.
I feel awful for Florida State. They got robbed. Stupid SEC
When the whole scam of a “playoff” is set up and engineered by one specific conference, imagine the results…We don’t need to, we just saw them. What a joke.
I agree about FSU. IT STINKS! Being a resident of Los Angeles I can tell you as of now the UCLA fans are not showing BSU any respect at all. I’m all about Liberty. Oregon will be one heck of a challange for them.
It sounds like UCLA has been going in the opposite direction from BSU over the past few weeks. Let’s hope both trends continue.
Though not a P5 giant, UCLA can be a signature win.
If the Broncos play as they did against UNLV it will greatly improve the BSU diminished reputation as a P5 spoiler. It will be a strong signal–the Broncos are back.
I feel kinda (but not entirely) bad for SMU. They snuck up on everyone to win the AAC & finish 11-2 & their reward is an exciting trip to exotic BOSTON on December 27th to play Boston College at Fenway Park.
Imagine how excited that team feels.
