(go broncos)

#48, Oliver Fisher, RS Freshman, TE

Stats

Height: 6’5

Weight: 238

High school: Sherwood HS (Sherwood, OR)

How’d he get to The Blueâ„¢?

The 3 star recruit was the #3 recruit in the state of Oregon for 2023. He got his offer from Boise State on July 1st, and after an arduous 4 days made his commitment to the Broncos. We can only imagine he made his choice staring up at the fireworks on the 4th of July, imagining all the fireworks of this offense.

Nickname

“Ollie”

You might say “Hunter, this nickname is too easy”, to which I’d reply “can you do cool skateboard tricks”? Well, I can’t either.

Look-alike

Today our flawless lookalike algorithm has chosen Pitch Perfect star Adam DeVine, which makes us wonder how Oliver does on team karaoke night.

Career Highlights

Oliver was a redshirt last year in his debut Bronco season.

2024 Prospectus

TE seems to be quite a topic these days in Broncoland. Matt Lauter is the undisputed #1 guy there, but a plethora of TEs have also recently signed with the squad, albeit mostly blocking TEs. I don’t know where that places Oliver, but I think it indicates there’s some competition underway. A recent tweet I found seems to indicate Mr. Fisher is making a push to be running routes on The Blue, sooner than later.

Is he on Twitter?

That he is! @oliverfisher_11. Mostly retweets, but he’s got some good videos of the workouts he’s been doing.

Completely made up fact

Oliver’s parents were initially gonna give him the last name of Hunter, but they couldn’t get the permits for it. Guess we can’t all be named Hunter!
