Folks, we’ve made it to the 70s. Get yer tie shirts and bell bottoms, we got (probably) 10 lineman in a row. Starting it off with #79, Trevor Mckenna.
#79, Trevor McKenna, Freshman, DL

Stats
Height: 6’6
Weight: 262
High school: Borah High School
How’d he get to The Blue™?
It’s not far, just take a right when you’re leaving Borah and take a left to Curtis. After that just take a right on Franklin and that’ll get you to Capitol. Probably about 10 minutes driving, but just make sure you check for traffic.
…The three star DL committed a few short weeks after being offered in early July. Not too much fanfare, just good choices.
Nickname
“Roots”
He told Mike Prater when he committed “I was born in student housing. I was born to be a Bronco.”
Look-alike

Hopefully he’s come to destroy the Sith (not join them) but Hayden Christensen feels like the appropriate match here.
Career Highlights
Just getting started.
2024 Prospectus
He’ll likely redshirt, but he probably has the size to get some snaps in this year. I’m biased as a Borah guy myself, but I really feel like Trevor was the sleeper of this class. George Tarlas had 60 tackles his senior year at Borah—Trevor had 90. Definitely someone to look out for.
Is he on Twitter?
Yes! Check out @Trevor_Mck. He’s prone to tweet about once a month.
Completely made up fact
Temporarily bestowed with the gift of prophecy, Dan Hawkins flew Trevor’s parents from Alabama to Boise on a late snowy evening in 2005, ensuring his birth in BSU student housing (as was foretold).
