Just two days shy of a single fortnight remain until the magic happens!
#15, Colt Fulton, Redshirt Junior, QB

Stats
Height: 6’4
Weight: 195 (-9)
High school: Santa Margarita HS (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)
How’d he get to The Blueâ„¢?
Mr. Fulton was part of that surprising large pool of our players who held Ivy League offers out of HS. The California QB rejected Yale and SJSU to bring him to the Treasure Valley.
Nickname
“Bronco”
Colt no more, this man is a Bronco! Plus, if he ever decides to go into any field where a pseudonym is required (novelist, riverboat gambler, etc…), “Bronco Fulton” is a pretty incredible name.
Look-alike

Actor, Chris Zylka. Who I pretty much exclusively know from the HBO series The Leftovers
Career Highlights
Saw action in his first two games of 2022, playing against Colorado State and UNR. Had a nice seven yard first down rush against the latter. In 2023, he made an appearance in 8 games and even threw a successful two point conversion vs Wyoming.
His high school highlights can be viewed here.
2024 Prospectus
While it’s worth noting that the QB battle seems to be a toss up between Maddux Madsen and Malachi Nelson, as far as starter…Boise State had *three* QBs that started games last season (two of which are gone and thus no longer in competition for snaps). You never know what can happen! And, when he was here, Bush Hamdan specifically mentioned Colt Fulton as a guy he leaned on, as a player that understood the offense, had bearing, and not-insignificant talent.
Is he on Twitter?
He is, and it’s a very intuitive handle, @coltfulton_. He has a propensity to tweet from time to time.
Completely made up fact
Colton has become a passionate sprouter of microgreens. He grows his own broccoli sprouts and supplies friends on the team with the brain enhancing effects of the sulfurophane within. If Boise State goes undefeated in 2024, thank Colt and his green thumb!

This guy has put in a lot of hard work. I’d like to see him get some real opportunities, besides a two-point conversion.
I’ve always liked this guy and felt he should have started against UCLA. We would have won that game with him.
Agreed. Unfortunately, he was recovering from a torn MCL. He didn’t start practicing again until halfway through spring.
