JC French, QB

The American, French, won the QB battle in fall camp for the Eagles. With a plethora of talented receivers, it’s gonna matter a lot a bit if JC can get the ball to them.

Jalen White, RB

For a throwing team, they have a good back in Jalen White, who had nearly a thousand yards on the ground last year. If they can force us to respect the run, it will be a loooong game.

Marquez Watson-Trent, LB

The star LB was mentioned by both SD and Dirk in this week’s pressers. The senior had over 100 tackles last year and is the anchor of the GSU defense. But can he tackle Ashton Jeanty?

Keys to Victory

Protect the Ball

This is always a key to victory, but in games you’re “supposed” to win, you gotta stay clean. No fumbles, no picks, and we walk out of Georgia with a W.

Run the Bawl

The #HEI2MAN campaign is underway and, well, he should get plenty of touches. Dare I saw Jeanty is good enough to win us most games, let’s make sure we use him.

Pass Defense

The most intriguing (and scary) part of this game is that it features an excellent passing attack against a pass defense that has a lot to prove. What we see on Saturday will be very telling on how this season will go defensively.

Score Prediction

I’m optimistic. Some early jitters will eventually give way to a fairly comfortable win.
