Mr. WR1 will be a name to watch tonight. While our defense has made significant strides in recent weeks, Royals is likely to get plenty of looks.

The best policy for Utah State is to keep Jeanty off the field. Any kind of clock control could achieve that, if they can gain some yardage on our defense.

Clyde Washington, ILB

Ike Larsen gets a lot of fanfare at DB, but honestly, I don’t see us throwing much. If Utah State wants to make us sweat, they’re gonna need their linebacker to make plays on the best back in America.

Pass

While I don’t see us passing much, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to see us pass much. Get the Mad Dog back on track and it’ll be at the very least a victory for my sanity browsing Twitter during the week.

I like our chances, I won’t lie. I’ll take a feel-good win to kick off October, including a couple more field goals for Dalmas, but why not.
