Other facts
1. Statzz

Considering the advanced stats had us as 40 dogs against Oregon, I’m cool with a projected 5 point win. Important to note that UNLV excels at getting good field position and scoring on those drives. Special teams will be absolute key.
2. Or funny
Brownie points if you can guess the other.
3. JEANTY IMPERIALISM
Ashton Jeanty continues his conquest Friday night, can he break up the central-eastern bloc?
4. Ice Ice Baby
White helmet decal, nice.
5. Goooood Times
Streaks
Boise State – Won 4
UNLV – Won 2

Players To Watch
Hajj-Malik Williams, QB
Hajj has lead the troops after the Sluka-NIL fiasco, and somehow they’ve been much better for it. The graph above shows that he’s been both efficient leading the offense and successful at completing difficult throws. Great QB play thus far, we’ll have to pressure him and bring him down.
Ricky White, WR
No only is he doing the whole “catching passes” thing, he’s also blocking punts at an alarming rate. Think like a mini Austin Pettis. Research has shown that getting your punts blocked is bad for business, so it’s advisable to pay attention to him.
Jackson Woodard, LB
Woodard is the heart of the UNLV defense (and apparently an early supporter of Mr. Malik-Williams). He’s an excellent ball hawking LB, and while we made it out fine throwing a pick-six last year, I’d rather not do it again.
Keys to Victory
Special Teams, Special Field Position
The Rebels lead the country in field position, could a couple JFR points do the trick? (please be back)
Turnover, No
It wasn’t until I rewatched the game against UNLV last year that I remembered Taylen threw a pick-6? Of course he more than made up for it, but a clean game from Maddux would almost guarantee a win.
Mad Dawg
Speaking of, Mr. Madsen has struggled under the lights thus far this year. He doesn’t have to be and shouldn’t be Superman, but we’re gonna need some big time throws.
Score Prediction
You might call my prediction low-scoring, but I think that’s more of a time-of-possession thing than a defense thing. I see a gritty game, with the Broncos pulling through thanks to solid defense and the best RB in the known (and unknown) universe.
Boise State 31, UNLV 23

This game is a concern.
13/16 for 301 with 4 TD’s is insane, the secondary is going to have to play way above their paygrade to pull a win out.
Jeanty is going to need to do Jeanty things.
Mad Max is going to need to play Beyond Thunderdome.
