Tomorrow, Boise State will be in Las Vegas to take on UNLV, in a rematch of the Mountain West Conference Championship from last year. In anticipation of that event, here is the updated depth chart released by the school, enhanced by links to our Countdown articles (for the majority of players), as well as a pronunciation guide.

Notable Notes
- Kyle Cox is now listed as the backup to Kage Casey at left tackle. It had previously been Connor Gilbreath.
- Replacing Kyle Cox in backing up Hall Schmidt at the right tackle spot is Daylon Metoyer
- Taren Schive is now listed in bold behind Craig Ferguson-Reynolds as the punter (which, again, bold seems to indicate co-starter). This is almost certainly because CFR is still recovering from a leg injury.
- Jonah Dalmas is now listed at number three as a kickoff specialist, behind Taren Schive and Jarrett Reeser. All of them, however, are listed in bold.
- Dylan Riley has replaced Kayden Chan as the primary kick returner, ahead of Cameron Bates (also listed in bold) and Ashton Jeanty.

This game worries me. I’m almost afraid there is a feeling that all they have to do is show up, bare their teeth, and hand the ball to Jeanty.
I don’t get that feeling at all. However, I do have my concerns about their QB. For the most part, he is their offense. If we can keep pressure on him and bottle him up, we’ll win.
Agree with all….but to me another key is “take care of the ball” and “take it away for them”!
I’m more concerned with all the ads & pop ups now. It’s like I clicked on a porn site or something. 🤨
I agree. First Kick is trying to generate a little revenue for its efforts. It takes a whole lot of clicks to make a buck. I wrote for a blog for an entire season and made a little more than $100.
Yeah…I apologize that there’s been a lot going on right now, that way. I have been tinkering with some things to pay for the site and, ultimately, incentivize things a bit for my guys. Again, they’re currently 100% volunteers and have jobs and wives and kids. So, yes, I’m trying some things out with adding the gift donation box on some articles, plugging into Adsense, and getting a couple sponsors. But I’m also trying to make sure it’s not overbearing and disruptive of the overall experience. So, I appreciate the feedback Mr. Wick (and Jittery)! Also, for the record, I… Read more »
By no means do I think Mr. Wick and, for certain, myself are complaining. You and your staff deserve whatever you can get. You and your gaggle have kept the home fires burning during the winter of our discontent. (AKA The Avalos era) I like some of the new sites but am loyal to my first love. I sometimes make suggestions or offer criticism. I think that’s what loyal readers, customers, and friends do. Good content is always the key. It’s difficult to say how this site or your staff might translate into a podcast. Sincerity and honesty are more… Read more »
I just like to add a little fun commentary. I fully appreciate that the site run on semi-volunteers (or full), though maybe a few athletic dept dollars or NIL money should go to pay for the site. (kidding….. sorta)
Or maybe, a few Sports Illustrated-esque model photos here. I read somewhere once that men tend to enjoy that kinda thing occasionally……. or so I’ve heard. 😉
It drives traffic. 🙂
Whew….. I’ll take the win. 29-24 🙏🫣
There are these things called VPN’s and Ad Blockers that take care of 99% of those pop-ups. I’ve never had one pop-up on FKWG.
An ad for shoes just popped up. There’s a pair I’ve been trying to find for years. Thank you FKWG.
If I need shoes I’ll find them without popup ads.
Yeah…sorry about that. I’m okay with some ads, but I’ll tinker with the settings some more because I don’t want WordPress or Adsense to be springing pop-ups on our patrons if it can be avoided. Thank you for your patience while we do some experimenting. We appreciate your readership and participation, Bob K!
Please, do tell more about the internet thing-of-a-ma-jig works. I have a pen & paper & am ready to take notes. 😉
VPN = Virtually Protected Network, it protects your identity. Unlike paper& pen which leave evidence of your presence, a VPN hides your identity. As well, when the cow jumps over the moon the stars align just right and that is how it works. ROTFLMAO
I do know what a VPN is. I use one all the time. Obviously, you didn’t quite catch the sarcasm.
Don’t knock the cow jumping over the moon. Kamala hasn’t finished reading it yet. 🤫
