A big win and a big score. And just as important, nobody came away injured–that we know about.
Didn’t like banging Jeanty against the 8-9 man box all night. It would have been worth it to sacrifice this game and score 70 using him as a decoy. Give him some rest. Might make future opponents think twice about selling out to stop the run. I love that kid, but he looked a little defeated during the game. It’s a testament to his guts to be able to grind out the tough yards, picking up the first downs necessary to seal the deal. He needs rest and an opportunity to get some of his swagger back.
