Brandon Lewis, QB

The Junior QB plans to test our patience once again with dual-threat quarterbacks. A week ago against CSU, he finished with 252 in the air and 109 on the ground for 3 TDs, with only one sack. Let’s up those sack numbers and see what happens?

Drue Watts, LB

With the human nuclear bomb, Ashton Jeanty, in our backfield, it’s probably wise to keep an eye on Drue Watts, leading tackler for the team. Can he stop Jeanty? Probably not, but it’ll be fun to watch.

Michael Coats Jr, CB

Coats leads the team in interceptions with 4. Should Nevada also decide to put 10 in the box, we may get to see him get some action.

Keys to Victory

Air Raid

I want a strong passing attack tonight. The quicker we can lighten the box, the better for everyone, but mostly Jeanty.

Heisman Campaign

We gotta make the most of national TV. Perhaps a new career high for Jeanty is in order? That would be a victory in my book.

Get Off The Field

Nevada will look to control the clock on offense. If we can’t get off the field on 3rd down (or 4th down), this game is going to be a lot more annoying that it should be.

Score Prediction

Does Choate scare me? Honestly? Yeah he does. I’m not predicting a loss or anything (which I never do anyway), but it wouldn’t shock me if this game feels close ’til halftime. In the end, I do think we pull away with a nice win on national TV.
