Now that the match is set and the opponent is known, Coach Danielson met with the media to discuss the upcoming matchup with Penn State. He had a lot of positive things to say about James Franklin and do-everything TE, #44 Tyler Warren. He also had some glowing words for now-backup quarterback Max Cutforth, and provided some optimism that Alex Teubner might play a lot more in the upcoming game and that Spencer views Boise as home and wants to be here for the foreseeable future.

Fyi! The officiating crew will be from the SEC. Why does that make me uncomfortable?
Might work the other way; I’m not sure there is a love/love relationship between the SEC and Big 10.
Most coaches seem to dread pressers, however, SD seems to embrace them. I wonder what he has up his sleeve?
A couple of days ago the Broncos picked up two running backs from the portal. Lloyd Avant is a freshman running back from Tulsa. For a freshman, he has decent numbers,
They also picked up Malik Sharrod from Fresno. He was used quite a bit as a return man. Both will be able to fill out the RB room. A few running backs from the class of ’25 still have not committed. It is my guess they are not OKGs.
Tyrell Brown, a JUCO defensive lineman, just committed. The Broncos will be losing a couple on the defensive line. He will be needed.
From a PSU guy-looking forward to the game next week. Should be a great one.
If PSU wins, I hope it’s close. If Boise wins, a blowout would be nice.
However, PSU is a team I regularly root for. It seems like no matter what, if they don’t win, they always give a good game. An incredible program, university, and fan base.
Last night, I saw an incredible effort by Washington State. It was said that 30 of their players left the team for the portal. They hung in there, giving Syracuse all they could handle.
I was never more happy to see a team lose than I was tonight when BYU beat Colorado. And, I think it was the first time that I was happy to see BYU win🤣
I just came here to say nearly the same thing.
I don’t know who the announcers were. There are no words to describe their bias. Colorado got their carcasses handed to them and all they could talk about was Shaddur and Travis. THEY LOST, YOU IDIOTS. BYU dominated. Dion Sanders is not, nor ever was the greatest athlete. He was good at two sports. That’s it.
I had vomit in the back of my throat more than once. Could those clowns have fawned over Hunter any more??? Seeing them get their butts handed to them in a convincing beatdown was rather satisfying….
Yeah, those clowns were talking about Shaddur and how much he wanted to play even though the game was impossible to win. “That’s what he’s all about,” they said, “That’s all you need to know about Shaddur Sander.” While that was being said, he put a towel over his head imprinted with dollar signs. And when the game is beyond reach, why not allow someone else to play in a bowl game? Do you know why? Because it’s all about Shaddur.
Does anyone else feel it was an illegitimate bowl game to begin? You can’t have two teams from the same conference in the bowl.. Loved prime times face as his team was being eviscerated
BYU should have played Army. And Colorado, La Tech.
Visitor from BlackShoeDiaries here… best wishes for a great game tomorrow night! Question – is there a place called “Happy Valley” Idaho? Thought I heard someone say that once. FWIW, the nickname for the town where Penn State is located is Happy Valley. I’ve never been to Idaho and plan to get out there. Hiked and stayed in the Bitterroots in Montana, but as far as I know never crossed the border.
Welcome! Treasure Valley is what is considered the Boise Metro Area, Nampa, Meridian, Eagle, etc. Not familiar w/ a Happy Valley in Idaho, unless we win the Fiesta Bowl, at which time we might rebrand from Treasure Valley😉. In all seriousness though, looking forward to a GREAT game. Also, Idaho is definitely worth a trip, has many options to see and do in each region.
There’s a Happy Valley Rd, but I don’t know of a town or city by that name. Also, I checked out your BlackShoeDiaries page. Nice page, but not a lot of respect coming out of most of the posts. If the PSU players are as overconfident as the posters on BSD, Happy Valley is gonna be the Sad Gulch. 24 more long hours until kickoff….
GO BRONCOS!
Thanks to both of you for the responses — maybe it was “Treasure” Valley I heard. And, yes, definitely getting out to Idaho sometime soon! As for the overconfidence of the BSD posters (me included – sorry!), I/we feel your pain. Penn State has a long history of having great seasons and not getting the goods for them. And as the school with the most all-time D1 wins to never make the BCS or CFP, we’re sort of enjoying the team getting that monkey off its back via this expanded playoff. So, yes, we know how you feel vis-a-vis the… Read more »
