1. Season On the Line
It’s hard to forget the loss we took in Viejas just 2 weeks ago. The obituary writing of that night was halted by a huge win at home against the Lobos and then a close shave at Lawlor. Now, to keep our hopes alive, we must win against a 24-4 Utah State team at home.
2. Resume Watch
Defying all odds, the Broncos have remained in play for the coveted at-large bid. Following the win vs. San Jose State at home, It was expected that we would have to go at least 6-1 with the loss coming to one of San Diego State, New Mexico, Nevada, or Utah State. We opened that stretch getting beat down by San Diego State. However, the Broncos are 2-0 since and will need to win this one (and the next 3) to stay alive for an at-large bid.

It’s been a second since we’ve beaten the Aggies, but the last time was a fun one!

Keys to Victory
Defend the 3 on Defense; Hit the 3 on Offense
Last time we played the Aggies we did great shooting the three ball, shooting 53.8% from beyond the arc. The only problem was that the Aggies shot 52.4%. The defense has improved markedly since then, but will need to lower that number quite a bit for a win.
Limit Turnovers
Simple, turnover differential is key in big games.
Score Prediction
Last time in the Spectrum, the Broncos were very close to pulling it out, losing 79-81 from a Utah State game-winning shot. At home, the Broncos have taken only one loss this season (San Diego State), and I think it’ll be the only one.
