A nice relaxing Sunday. I am glad you’re spending it here. Today’s entrant doesn’t technically have a number and the roster doesn’t technically have a dude in the 74 spot. So I filled it with a dude who could potentially fill both. With 74 Days until kickoff we have…

Stats

Height: 6′ 5″

Weight: 280 lbs

High school: Mountain View HS, Meridian, ID

How’d he get to The Blue™?

Local kid coming on as a preferred walk-on. Per his 247Sports profile he had an offer from Montana Tech and interest from Washington. He did a good by choosing to stay home.

Interesting that Perry is/was the only other OL player brought in during this signing class (Telani being the other).

Nickname

“Tyler”

Looking forward to him making a bunch of movies where he plays a bunch of different characters.

Ok here me out on this one. A younger version of Director Gore Verbinski.

Career Highlights

Mr. Perry earned all-state honors as a senior and helped get Mountain View football to the state semifinals. He also was first-team all-conference and academic all-conference. That’s pretty awesome.

2025 Prospectus

Going to be pretty straightforward on this one: going to take his redshirt year and develop. Hopefully no one sees this as a knock because the Broncos are going to be working towards a third-straight MWC ‘ship and an attempt to get back to the playoffs. There are other dudes in front of Mr. Perry so by all accounts we shouldn’t see him in game time. The Broncos make it clear hard work doesn’t go unnoticed so there is a good chance Perry will get his turn–eventually–and at least be given the opportunity to see some consistent playing time. This next season will not be it.

Is he on Twi/X?

Completely made up fact

Barring an NFL career, Mr. Perry will be falling back on his second love: old vehicle transmission tear downs on social media and Youtube.
