I don’t have any clever connections to 55, but happy Independence Day, everyone! Today, let’s highlight…
#55 Mana Tuioti, Freshman, LB

Stats
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 220 lbs
High school: Sheldon High School. Eugene, Oregon
How’d he get to The Blueâ„¢?
There was a consensus from ESPN, On3, Rivals, and 247 that he was the number one linebacker prospect in the state of Oregon. In addition to 98 tackles, 4 sacks, and 9.5 TFLs in his senior year, he also appears to have been something of a short yardage running back. He only had 751 yards, but 21 (!!) touchdowns! In addition to Boise State and Hawaii, he also had offers from Arizona, Arizona State, and Cal
Nickname
“Mana T”
No, it’s not a fat joke. Manatees are actually awesome. Right up there with sloths and capybaras as the chillest animals on the planet. So, I consider it a compliment!
Look-alike

Rapper and actor, LL Cool J
Career Highlights
None so far at the college level, as he is a true freshman. However, you can view the exploits that landed him on the Broncos’ here.
2025 Prospectus
There’s a number of bodies ahead of him on the depth chart at the position. So, if he makes it onto the field this year, it will likely be in relief or on special teams. Look for him to add some seasoning to game, strength to his frame, and we’ll likely see him a lot more in future years.
Is he on Twitter?
Yes! @ManaTuioti
Completely made up fact
Growing up in Eugene, Oregon, he obviously had a lot of exposure to the fact that Animal House came from there. In order to capitalize on that, he has plans to start a hotel in Eugene after his playing career, but to avoid copyright infringement, it will be named “Human Hut”.

Incredible nickname. I’m getting an Ezekiel Noa feel from him.
I was just watching some Bronco highlights from a few years back. I forgot how good a running back Ryan Wolpin was. Not record-breaking, but just tough. A couple of his TDs were game winners.
