How’d he get to The Blue™?

I was privileged enough to write Mr. Jacobsen’s post from last year so I am going to copy/paste that one.

Mr. Jacobsen played both sides of the ball for Rocky Mountain and was super-busy all over the field (halfback, o-line, tight end). A jack of all trades. He was tabbed with Rocky Mountain Special Teams MVP in 2021.

Career Highlights

He’s played in 11 games (over the past two years) mostly on special teams. Hasn’t recorded a state but he’s made it on the field 11 times more than most folks so that counts.

2025 Prospectus

The EDGE is always a fan-favorite position so it’s generally going to be pretty high-profile. If I had to take an educated guess here, Jacobsen is most likely going to be making his appearances on special teams. Jayden Virgin-Morgan is going to be the leader in this group and coaching staff probably brought in transfer Sterling Lane II for a reason (though transfers just sometimes don’t work out). Malakai Williams transferred from the school up north so we will see what he brings. Roman Caywood is a RS Freshman (hopefully) knocking on the door for playing time. Then there is a bunch of freshman. Fingers crossed there aren’t any injury bugs to thin the group.

Is he on Twi/X?

Yep. And he’s here if you want to check it out.

Completely made up fact

Apparently Ohio is the only state whose name doesn’t share any letters as the word ‘mackerel’. Jacobsen discovered this.
