How’d he get to The Blue™?
Mickey was 4-star recruit and consensus top-20 player in California coming out of high school. He initially took his talents to Notre Dame where he played in 24 games his first two seasons. From there, he took his redshirt early in the 2024 campaign before finally found his way home to Boise.

Good! He came to Boise as a corner but has since been moved to Nickel. I won’t lie, I’m excited at the potential for the DB room this year. I’ve been burned on this point in past years, but the addition of Mickey to the room makes me bullish we might get more than two picks this year.

A legal loophole has forced Disney World to offer the Mickey family a lifetime discount to its parks. Unfortunately for Mr. Mickey, the closure during 2025 of his favorite ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, has rendered the discount meaningless. Yet another win for The Mouse’s lawyers.
I hope this can cure some of the Broncos’ secondary woes.
Interestingly, some players come from schools where they may have started, thinking they have come to a school with inferior talent. They soon find out the Broncos are deep in talent. Maybe even more so than their previous school.
