How’d he get to The Blue™?
Whitlock was one of a few called up to fill WR roles on the squad following last season. Not a lot known about him when he showed up, but Demetric hails from Louisiana and started his college career at Hutchinson CC. Now he’s in Bronco Blue and that’s all that matters.

2025 Prospectus
Whitlock is certainly the wild card for the season. He doesn’t have a lot of production to show for his career, but I’m also not the guy that gets paid to evaluate talent. Cam Camper was also a bit of a late bloomer, so there’s plenty of possibilities for Whitlock. I could see a scenario where he becomes a solid rotation piece, and another where he doesn’t see the field much. Hard to know for sure at this juncture, but I certainly wouldn’t mind a productive WR to add to the group.

Completely made up fact
Whitlock is a big movie guy. Not quite at the level of our editor, Michael, but he keeps his Letterboxd on his phone dock and won’t be interrupted until he finishes his review. It’s that level of dedication that caught the coaches’ eyes.
I have heard some good things about him coming out of fall camp. I don’t think a lot will be seen from him unless there are injuries. My opinion is that he’s being geared up for next year.
