First day of real college football feels so good. We might have to wait a few days for OUR start, but just the fact it’s happening at all is…cathartic.

Stats
Height: 6-3
Weight: 260
High school: Mt. Carmel HS
How’d he get to The Blue™?
He was a four-star recruit with 247, and put up some insane numbers in high school. 144 tackles and 20 sacks (16 of those came in his senior year!) summarize his illustrious high school career.
Nickname
“San Diego Sacker”
Jayden sacked his way through O Lines in high school, and now he’s doing it in Boise!
Look-alike

Exceptionally strong human and quasi-fitfluencer, Elliott Hulse
Career Highlights
Last season, Jayden played opposite one of the best EDGE rushers in the nation and still racked up 10 sacks (second in the MW) and 15.5 TFL (tied for team high). Those numbers helped him earn MW first-team all-defensive honors.
2025 Prospectus
This season, he is ranked 46th in ESPN’s top 100 NCAA players, and he looks to prove the media right. He will be the key anchor point on the DL and looking to lead the team in sacks and TFLs. Expect Jayden to be a wrecking ball on that defensive line and stacking stats once again.

Completely made up fact
Jayden is a criminal justice major, and while you might expect that would translate to a career in law enforcement, in reality he’s planning to have the top true crime podcast on the charts when his playing days are done.

Opposing QBs will be chugging an entire bottle Maalox the night before having to face JVM.
Green is starting at Arkansas, and Nelson is at UTEP. That’s two D1 QBs who couldn’t beat out Madsen.
Kaleb Annette, backup punter. Humm?
Kellen Moore had a 37-yard average as a punter for Boise State.
