Folks. We have experienced football for reals. And it is almost our turn. With just three days left to go.

#03, Latrell Caples, Sixth Year, WR

Stats

Height: 6′

Weight: 195 lbs

High school: Lancaster HS, Lancaster, TX

How’d he get to The Blue™?

Mr. Caples was a three-star recruit out of high school, Top 100 wide receiver in Texas (football is kind of a big deal down there). He had an impressive offer sheet from Missouri, Colorado (ehh), and Boston College. He obviously chose correctly.

Nickname

Career Highlights

He’s been on a lot of preason lists (Phil Steele, Ahtlon, All-Mountain West). Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List for 2025. Last year he had three receiving touchdowns in one game which ties the Mountain West for most in a game. Pretty dang dope.

2025 Prospectus

This is going to be Mr. Caples year. Barring anything unforeseen happening (please no) Mr. Caples should be an unquestioned leader for the team. And now that the generational talent RB has moved on to the next level, this is going to be the year for the passing game to break out. Mark my words: 1st Team All-Mountain West. Book it.

Is he on Twi/X?

Has an opinion about the 100 men vs one gorilla debate.

My own thought on this: one at a time, the gorilla is going 100-0. But all at the same time? Going with the dudes.

Completely made up fact

Mr. Caples prefers Coke Zero over Diet Coke.
